Craig Caddy founded CC Welding with one philosophy: do it right the first time. With over 25 years of hands-on welding experience, 14 years in the Iron Workers Union, and 4 years working in certified welding shops, Craig brings industrial-grade precision to every job — from massive structural beams to detailed custom fabrication.

Self-shielded flux core — the go-to for outdoor structural work, heavy equipment repair, and field welding where gas shielding isn't practical. No external gas needed. Ideal for wind, rain, and remote jobsite conditions.
Pipe Welding
6-G Pipe E71T-8
6G is the most difficult pipe position — fixed 45-degree incline. Passing this certifies you for ALL pipe positions (1G through 6G). E71T-8 wire for self-shielded structural pipe welding. The gold standard in pipe certification.
FCAW Low-Hydrogen
E71T-9-H8
Low-hydrogen designation (H8) — critical for structural steel connections where hydrogen cracking must be prevented. Used in seismic zones, high-stress connections, and code-critical joints. Meets AWS D1.1 structural code.
Stick Welding (SMAW)
SMAW E-7018
The "7018" — the most trusted structural stick electrode in the world. Low-hydrogen, all-position, 70,000 PSI tensile strength. Every iron worker's bread and butter. Used in bridges, buildings, and critical structural connections.

JP-1F-PLUG
Joint penetration plug weld certification in flat position. Plug welds fill holes in overlapping plates — critical for connecting steel decking, shear connections, and composite floor systems in commercial construction.

Full joint penetration in vertical (3G) and overhead (4G) positions. The hardest positions to weld — fighting gravity while maintaining perfect fusion. Required for moment connections and critical structural joints.
